All Souls' Day Candles

All Souls' Day is a special day when we remember and pray for those who have died.

We invite you to have a candle lit in memory of a loved one. Each candle will bear their name and will remain lit in the Chapel throughout the day.

You are warmly welcome to visit the Chapel for as little or as long as you wish for prayer, reflection, remembrance, or quiet contemplation. If you are attending the Horsforth Campus, you may also light a candle in person on the day.

If you are based at the City Campus, heart-shaped notes will be available in the City Centre Chapel for you to write the name of your loved one. You may also submit a name to have a candle lit at the Horsforth Campus.

At both campuses, members of the Chaplaincy team will be available should you wish to talk or simply have a listening ear.
