Hannah Hayward - Coordinating Lay Chaplain
Hannah is the Coordinating Lay Chaplain at Leeds Trinity University. Hannah's job is to make sure everything in the Chaplaincy is running well, and in line with its vision. She manages the staff, oversees the programme of activities, pioneers new ideas, liaises with various groups/staff in the university, and is available for a chat, a cuppa, and a listening ear whenever staff or students need it!
Cat Sayburn - Lay Chaplain
Cat Sayburn is our Lay Chaplain. Cat provides pastoral support for all staff and students and is involved in the day to day running of the Chaplaincy. She loves a brew and is always ready with a listening ear and advice.
Fr Marc Homsey - Priest Chaplain
Fr Marc is our priest chaplain and is around at LTU (usually Wednesdays) to provide priestly, pastoral support for all staff and students. He is an alumnus of LTU and loves being back on campus.
Danielle Roman - Chaplaincy Administrator
Danielle is the Chaplaincy Administrator for the Chaplaincy. She is responsible for making things happen, setting up for events, and spreadsheets (and she loves a spreadsheet)!
Shames Maskeen - Muslim Pastoral Advisor
Shames is the Associate Director of The Race Institute and Senior Lecturer in Developmental Psychology here at Leeds Trinity University. If you feel like you have any issues or concerns that you would like to discuss or just want to have a chat he would be more than happy to meet up and catch up.
Sophia Milnes - Muslim Pastoral Advisor
Sophia is the Student Recruitment and Outreach Manager here at Leeds Trinity University. If you feel like you have any issues or concerns that you would like to discuss or just want to have a chat she would be more than happy to meet up and catch up.
CFR Sisters - Wider Chaplaincy Team
The Franciscans are a group of dynamic, young and joyful religious sisters (ie. Nuns!) who serve the work of the Chaplaincy, including running the monthly prayer group at 'Into the Light'. They are originally from the USA and have a great energy and love for young people and mission. We love having them on team!
Yasser Nazir - Associate Imam
Yasser Nazir is a local Imam from Al Markaz Ul Islami mosque in Bradford. He will be leading Friday Prayers and they will run every Friday during term time until the end of the academic year. Yasser is a recent graduate from Al Markaz and principal at a children's Madrassa in Bradford, as well as a teacher of Islamic Sciences to elder students on the weekends.
